The Meaning of Wild is a half-hour documentary that celebrates designated Wilderness Areas in the Tongass National Forest of Alaska.  This is a project that Ben Hamilton of Pioneer Videography and I dreamed up almost three years ago while we were in the field on a long expedition.  Working with the Forest Service and Sitka Conservation Society, we used crowd-sourcing to raise the funds needed to produce the film.  Shot and edited by Ben Hamilton. Produced by Adam Andis.
